Lutto, 2004, performance, duration of 5 minutes, Valencia

Ανοίγω μια βαλίτσα και τη γεμίζω με άμμο.
Έχω μαζί μου φακέλους που τους γεμίζω κι αυτούς με άμμο και τους τοποθετώ σταδιακά μέσα στη βαλίτσα.
Μόλις ολοκληρωθεί η διαδικασία βάζω τους φακέλους σε μια τσάντα, κλείνω τη βαλίτσα με την άμμο και τα παίρνω μαζί μου.
Πριν σηκωθώ ρίχνω δυο χούφτες άμμο στο κεφάλι μου.

I open a suitcase and fill it with sand.
I have with me envelopes which I fill them with sand too and place them gradually in the suitcase.
When the process is completed I put the envelopes in another bag, I close the suitcase with the sand and take them all with me.
Before I get up I throw two handfuls of sand in my head.
